About Us

Lauren knows how frustrating it is to feel unwell, but to be told there’s nothing to worry about or sent away with medication recommendations that only address the symptoms. She has suffered from chronic pain and discomfort throughout her life, but because she looked healthy on the outside, routine labs frequently came back normal, or practitioners simply didn’t have time, her health complaints weren’t taken seriously. Her determination to feel well and her rejection of the idea that symptoms are normal, led her to a lifelong study of health and natural medicine.

Lauren is a certified Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner® (FDN-P) and holds her M.S. in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine from the University of Western States, which is affiliated with the Institute for Functional Medicine. She completed a mentorship at Dr. Mark Hyman’s UltraWellness Center (Lenox, MA). She received her B.S. in Wellness and Alternative Medicine from Johnson State College (VT). After graduating she apprenticed with an herbalist and later trained in massage therapy at the Center for Natural Wellness School of Massage Therapy (NY). She is a Licensed Massage Therapist in New York and Massachusetts and is nationally certified. She practiced massage therapy professionally for several years before turning her focus to FDN.

Having personal experience with how compromised health can compromise life, and knowing that looking normal doesn’t mean feeling normal, Lauren is passionate about helping other people uncover the hidden causes of their health complaints so that they can start living the lives they know are possible and shift from surviving to thriving.
